XJet, Complete AM Partner to Deploy Carmel 1400M NPJ System in U.S.
XJet announced a partnership with Complete AM to deploy a Carmel 1400M NPJ system in the U.S., expanding local access to high-resolution metal and technical ceramic printing.

XJet announced a partnership with Complete AM of Schaumburg, Illinois to represent and deploy its Carmel 1400M NanoParticle Jetting (NPJ) system across North America. The agreement names Complete AM as a full-service channel partner for XJet’s metal and ceramic NPJ solutions and positions the company to install a Carmel 1400M in its own facility while providing sales, service, and materials support.
The move gives U.S. customers more direct access to NPJ technology for high-resolution metal and technical ceramic parts. Complete AM’s role goes beyond sales: by hosting and operating a Carmel 1400M on-site, the company will be able to support local production workflows and material development work that is critical for industries with tight qualification standards such as aerospace, medical, and precision manufacturing.
For the 3D printing community, the practical upside is clear. Local representation reduces logistical complexity for sample runs and technical conversations, and integrated support for materials and service helps bridge the gap between prototype prints and production-ready parts. Complete AM’s engineering expertise is expected to help customers translate NPJ capabilities into validated workflows and material formulations suitable for regulated and precision applications.
NPJ technology, offered by XJet in metal and ceramic variants, emphasizes high-resolution capability and material versatility. Placing a Carmel 1400M inside a North American partner facility expands hands-on opportunities for engineers and buyers to evaluate part quality, tolerance, and surface finish without the delays of international shipping or long-distance vendor coordination.

The partnership also strengthens XJet’s channel presence in the U.S. market. Having a dedicated local partner that handles deployment, service, and materials supply streamlines the customer experience from sales inquiry to post-installation support. That is particularly relevant for shops and labs that need tight turnarounds on qualification testing or who are exploring technical ceramics and metals for end-use components.
Next steps will include the physical installation of the Carmel 1400M at Complete AM’s Schaumburg facility and operational ramp-up of sales and support services. For designers and production engineers watching NPJ closely, the collaboration promises more accessible trialing and development of NPJ metal and ceramic processes, and a more immediate path from concept to validated parts in the sectors that demand the highest precision.
