Seven free rewards are on offer in Black Ops 7's Zombies playlist right now, and every one of them disappears on April 9 at 10:00 AM PT. That gives players three days to work through the Survivors of Ash event's challenge list on the Ashwood Survival map before the Season 3 window slams shut.

The reward spread covers the full range of cosmetics and usables: the "Corpse Wrangler" emblem, the "Tattered" weapon charm, the "Dreadender" Echo-12 blueprint, camo unlocks, GobbleGum items, and XP allotments tied to individual objectives. Every item is earnable through gameplay alone, no store visit required.

The challenge structure is deliberately tiered. Trap-kill objectives require 15 kills with a single trap, repeated across multiple tasks. Critical kills and a 1,000-kill accumulative target on Ashwood Survival anchor the mid-range work. The toughest requirement is reaching Round 20 without going Down, a no-damage endurance objective that punishes any mistake in positioning or GobbleGum management. Completing 10 Special Rounds rounds out the list.

Because the kill-count and Special Round objectives are cumulative, progress stacks across shorter sessions rather than demanding one marathon run. Ten Special Rounds builds up naturally if you're already grinding Ashwood Survival for the trap and kill challenges. The no-Down Round 20 run is the exception: it demands a coordinated co-op squad, deliberate route planning, and a full GobbleGum loadout. One teammate going down on Round 18 resets the attempt for everyone.

The April 9 deadline is closer than it looks. Event wind-downs typically bring heavier server loads on the final day, and anyone chasing the Dreadender Echo-12 blueprint should account for the time needed to build through the prerequisite challenges first. Trap kills and the kill-count target are realistically completable in two or three sessions from a cold start. The high-round reward is not.

Treyarch built Survivors of Ash entirely within the Zombies playlist, keeping every objective mode-authentic. Kills, survival rounds, and trap usage are mechanics Ashwood Survival already rewards, so the challenge list functions as directed progression rather than a box-ticking detour through unfamiliar modes. For a Zombies community that's grown wary of cross-mode event dilution, that design choice is worth noting.

The Dreadender Echo-12 blueprint is the headline item and almost certainly sits at the end of the challenge chain. If you're attempting every reward, start with the trap kills today and build toward the high-round runs in parallel while the lobbies are still full.
