Catamaran Guru Named Exclusive Global Sales Rep for GranOcean Yachts

GranOcean named Catamaran Guru its exclusive global sales and distribution representative, pairing the power-catamaran builder with a U.S.-based specialist that has been actively showcasing the brand's W-60 since at least October 2025.

The appointment, which GranOcean described as expanding an existing international relationship, is aimed at strengthening the builder's foothold in North America while extending its reach across global markets. Catamaran Guru covers yacht sales, ownership, liveaboard consulting, charter management, and sailing education, making it a broader distribution partner than a single-line dealership.

The timing aligns with GranOcean's push into the American market through a high-profile show debut. The company brought its W-72 power catamaran to the Palm Beach International Boat Show for its first public presentation to U.S. buyers. "Palm Beach gives U.S. buyers the opportunity to experience firsthand what sets the W-72 apart," said Eric So, co-founder of GranOcean, in a news release. "Owners are increasingly looking for greater interior volume, fuel efficiency and the ability to personalize their yacht without moving into a much larger size category. The W-72 delivers that balance of space, stability and customization in a way that reflects how people actually cruise."

No technical specifications for the W-72 have been released publicly. The W-60, however, is already in Catamaran Guru's sales rotation. At 58.7 feet long with a maximum beam of 28.5 feet and a draft of just 4 feet, the W-60 is positioned as a semi-custom build, with buyers able to configure layout and onboard systems. Catamaran Guru hosted a Fort Lauderdale VIP tour of the W-60 on Las Olas Boulevard from October 29 to November 2, 2025, inviting prospective owners to meet the GranOcean build team in person.

Catamaran Guru's YouTube channel, operating under the handle @catamaranguru on Instagram and Facebook, posted a full walkthrough of the W-60 on October 24, 2025. The video has accumulated nearly 3,000 views, a modest number that reflects the niche but serious audience for 60-foot power cats in this price segment.

With the W-72's Palm Beach debut now behind them and exclusive distribution locked in through Catamaran Guru, GranOcean's North American sales infrastructure is materially more developed than it was a year ago.
