A Sunreef 80 Eco that draws its power not from a fuel dock but from 164 square metres of solar panels integrated across its mast, boom, superstructure, and hull sides is now bookable for summer 2026. Bernard Gallay Yacht Brokerage listed APOLLO 99 for charter on March 23, opening availability across the Balearic Islands, the Cyclades, and the Ionian Islands for the season ahead.

Launched in 2023, APOLLO 99 is a 24-metre-class sailing catamaran designed and built by the Polish shipyard Sunreef Yachts. The vessel features electric propulsion and an advanced solar power system, generating 45.5 kWp of energy from 164 square metres of integrated solar panels across the mast, boom, superstructure, and hull sides. Twin 160 kW electric motors move the hull, backed by a pair of 80 kW generators, and she cruises at 8 knots.

APOLLO 99's generous beam and intelligent design, combined with accommodation for up to 8 guests and ecologically sound navigation, reflect the nautical innovation Sunreef Yachts has built its reputation on. That 11.54-metre beam does real work inside: panoramic windows run the length of the saloon, the cockpit carries a dedicated dining area, a bar module, and a convertible sunpad, and the aft platform lowers hydraulically to put guests directly at water level. The master suite runs full-beam and includes a dressing area, desk, sofa, and ensuite bathroom. The remaining three cabins are configured as two doubles and two twins, with four single beds between them, completing the four-cabin, eight-guest layout.

Charter guests aboard APOLLO 99 are looked after by a crew of four, led by Captain Fabiano. Chef Anna handles the galley, crafting personalised menus as the boat moves through anchorages. Water toys include a Williams RIB 505 Diesel Jet Drive, an e-foil board, sea bobs, and a swim platform.

The BGYB listing covers three distinct sailing grounds. In Spain, the Balearic Islands form the western arc of the itinerary; in Greece, the Cyclades and Ionian Islands split the eastern half of the summer between them. Bernard Gallay describes APOLLO 99 as following "flexible itineraries" through all three, which in practice means the booking can pivot between island groups depending on wind, weather, and what a group of eight actually wants to do with a week.

The Sunreef 80 Eco is an award-winning 80-foot electric sailing catamaran, and APOLLO 99 represents the model operating at charter maturity: three seasons of Mediterranean and Caribbean use since her 2023 launch, with a central agency relationship through BGYB already established. For a platform that runs on solar power and carries an e-foil in its toy box, the Balearics-to-Ionian routing covers some of the finest light-wind, clear-water sailing in European waters. The summer 2026 slots are open now.
