Sunreef has pushed the Ultima 88, the first hull named Wasabi, out of the render-heavy phase and into a buyer-facing reveal with a new walkthrough video and expanded image set. That matters because the new material lets prospective owners judge the things that decide a catamaran sale: how the deck moves, how the lounging and dining spaces connect, how private the accommodation feels, and whether the boat still looks like a performance catamaran rather than a floating villa.

The yacht was introduced in 2022 as a 26.8-metre catamaran and sits in Sunreef’s Ultima range, which the yard describes as a line of fully customizable eco-speeders blending comfort, performance and lifestyle. That positioning still runs through the latest reveal, but the video makes the practical side much easier to read. Buyers can now see the circulation between indoor and outdoor spaces, the way the platform creates volume without turning the profile boxy, and the overall balance between speedboat styling and the liveability expected from a large multihull.

The numbers behind the model are as ambitious as the presentation. YachtStyle has said the 88 Ultima offers almost 4,200 square feet of living space, while another listing put the onboard area at 387 square metres. The yacht is set up for up to 10 guests in 5 cabins or staterooms, with 5 crew members, and published top-speed figures have varied, with one source citing 30 knots and earlier material putting it at 26 knots. The first Ultima 88 hull is tied to the name Wasabi, and industry posts have linked an 88 Ultima build to speed champion Tim Ciasulli. Sunreef’s own social posts say the first Ultima 88 was built at its Ras Al Khaimah facility in the United Arab Emirates, giving the project a production base as well as a name.
