Pour Decisions Craft Coffee + Beer sets Aug. 8 grand opening in Houston Heights

Pour Decisions Craft Coffee + Beer will open its first Houston shop Aug. 8 at 555 W. 19th St., Suite 100A, putting the Bay Area concept into the Heights with a format built to run from morning espresso to evening pours. The Texas debut gives the brand a walkable neighborhood landing spot and a test of whether a café-bar can keep both coffee regulars and after-work drinkers coming back to the same counter.

The company describes itself as a craft coffee and craft beer concept, and its Houston location fits that split-day play. Pour Decisions’ existing locations are in San Jose, Fremont and Mountain View, with Houston marked as coming soon on the company’s site. Its menu shows non-alcoholic drinks priced from $3.75 to $7.95, craft beers from $5 to $10, and a house-made cream add-on for $1, giving the shop a clear ticket range across dayparts rather than a single service lane.

That mix is why the Heights matters. The neighborhood supports breakfast traffic, remote work, lunch stops and evening social time, and a place at Heights Blvd. & W. 19th St. sits in the kind of walkable pocket that can turn a coffee run into a beer stop without moving the car. Walk Score describes the area as a “Walker’s Paradise,” and the 555 W. 19th St. address is associated with Foundry on 19th, adding another recognizable anchor on a busy corridor.

Pour Decisions has also been signaling the hybrid pitch in its own social content, with references to craft coffee, matcha, signature drinks and “7AM beers.” That broad menu language suggests the shop is betting on a customer who might grab a latte at opening, a matcha midafternoon and a beer later in the day, all under the same roof. Community Impact also described the business as a craft beer, matcha and coffee shop headed for the Heights.

The timing adds another layer. White Linen Night in the Heights falls on the first Saturday in August, putting the grand opening window alongside one of the neighborhood’s biggest walk-in weekends. If Pour Decisions can translate that foot traffic into repeat daytime and evening visits, the Heights location could become more than a novelty opening and instead a template for how coffee operators extend hours without abandoning café identity.
