Free Icy Tweed Scarf Pattern Joins 2026 Scarf of the Month CAL

A light, lacy skinny scarf worked in Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Tweed is The Stitchin' Mommy's contribution to March's lineup in the 2026 Scarf of the Month Crochet-Along. Designer Amy Ramnarine published the Icy Tweed Scarf pattern as a free download, with a limited-time PDF that was available through the Ravelry shop until March 16, 2026 at 11:59pm ET.

"For my March contribution, I have a light and lacy skinny scarf made with Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Tweed yarn," the post reads. The pattern carries an easy skill level and uses a 5.5 mm (I) hook. According to the Oombawka Design Crochet description, the textured fabric highlights the flecks in the tweed yarn and gives the finished scarf a look that pairs easily with everyday winter outfits.

The Icy Tweed Scarf is one of three scarf patterns released for March through the Scarf of the Month Club. Guest designer Heidi Yates of Snappy Tots contributed one design, Ramnarine supplied the Icy Tweed Scarf, and Oombawka Design Crochet rounded out the month with the Everyday Winter Crochet Scarf. Matching hat patterns for all three designs were slated to follow the week after the scarf releases.

The 2026 Scarf of the Month CAL is structured as a 12-month project, with a new free scarf or cowl pattern posted to the hosting blogs each month. "We will each have a new free scarf/cowl pattern on our blogs each month, for 12 months! Plus, we will have 11 amazing designers that will be joining us this year," the announcement states. Club members received access to Premium PDF versions free of charge during the first 24 hours after each pattern's release.

The Icy Tweed Scarf pattern remains freely available on The Stitchin' Mommy's blog, with paid ad-free PDF options through Ravelry and Etsy for those who prefer a cleaner read. The Ravelry listing showed the pattern had accumulated 9,991 projects and been stashed 7,464 times at the time of publication.
