Rhondda Mol Releases Endless Comfort Square for CAL Central's Final Series Weeks

A soft texture, a comfortable drape, and a 2-round repeat you can run on autopilot: Rhondda Mol of Oombawka Design Crochet brought all three to the table with her Endless Comfort Blanket Square, released as her contribution to CAL Central's 2026 You've Got Options Crochet Along.

The pattern is free, and the design logic is straightforward. "This design uses a 2-round repeat, so once you've worked the first few rounds, you'll be able to crochet the square without constantly checking the instructions. The stitch pattern creates a soft texture with a cozy look and a comfortable drape — perfect for blankets." Mol built in genuine size flexibility. The square works as a standalone 6-inch piece, scales up to the CAL's standard 12-inch format, or keeps going as the foundation for a full blanket in any size. The recommended materials are Red Heart yarn and a 5.5 mm hook.
