CrossFit Offers Affiliates Up to $1,000 in Prizes During 2026 Open
Boxes competing in the 2026 CrossFit Open can win roughly $1,000 in prizes, including Rogue gift cards or two tickets to the CrossFit Games.

CrossFit's boxes now have skin in the game during the Open. The organization announced on March 12, 2026 that affiliates competing in the 2026 CrossFit Open, presented by Air National Guard, will be eligible to win prizes worth approximately $1,000 USD based on how their communities show up across two categories: performance and participation.
Each eligible affiliate that lands in a winning placement takes home a prize valued at roughly $1,000. CrossFit offered three examples of what that prize could look like: a $1,000 CrossFit affiliation fee credit, a $1,000 Rogue gift card, or two tickets to the 2026 CrossFit Games. The fee credit option in particular carries real weight for box owners, effectively offsetting a year's worth of affiliation costs.
The split between performance and participation prizes signals that CrossFit is rewarding more than just who finishes at the top of the leaderboard. A box that rallies its members to register and compete has a path to winning alongside boxes that place competitively. The specific mechanics behind each category, including how placements are determined and what qualifies an affiliate as eligible, are detailed in Section 1.34 of the 2026 Rulebook.
The 2026 Open is already underway, which means affiliate owners and coaches who haven't dug into the rulebook yet have reason to do so now. Section 1.34 is where CrossFit has outlined the full prize structure, eligibility requirements, and any conditions attached to the approximately $1,000 figure, a qualifier that suggests some variation depending on the prize form awarded.
For a program built around community, putting prize money back into the boxes themselves rather than individual athletes reflects a deliberate choice about where CrossFit sees long-term value.
