Siskiyou Humane Society Puppy Yoga Sells Out, Raises $460 for Rescue Dogs
Siskiyou Humane Society’s sold-out puppy yoga at Deadwood Supply Co. on Feb. 21 raised $460 for shelter animals; tickets were a $30 suggested donation and the class began at 3 p.m. PST.

A sold-out Puppy Yoga fundraiser hosted by Siskiyou Humane Society in partnership with Deadwood Supply Co. filled the storefront at 408 N Mt Shasta Blvd in Mount Shasta on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, beginning at 3:00 p.m. PST. Givebutter, the event’s ticketing and donation platform, shows the campaign raised $460 and hit 104% of a $440 goal; the ticket item was listed as “Puppy Yoga Ticket, $30.00” and the modal displayed “Sold Out.”
Givebutter’s event page lists the session as an “All-levels class! Full of puppies and flow.” The platform’s calendar metadata shows the class start at 3:00 p.m. and an end time of 4:15 p.m., indicating a 1 hour 15 minute session. Givebutter also displayed preset donation amounts of $25, $55, $100, $250, $500 and $1,000, a verified badge for Siskiyou Humane Society, and the legal designation “A 501(c)(3) Public Charity, EIN 94-2411106.” The Givebutter page advised attendees to “Please bring your own matt if possible.”

Facebook’s public event listing, posted by Siskiyou Humane Society Adoption Center, showed the event title “Puppy Yoga 2/21” and recorded that “51 people responded.” The Facebook event description included the line: “ABOUT THE CLASS: Join us for this fun + playful vinyasa yoga class taught for all levels with puppies! ALL-PROCEEDS from this class directly support the Siskiyou Humane Society,” and pointed users to the Givebutter ticket link.
Promotional posts on the shelter’s Instagram feed from Feb. 15–17 identified the instructor and framed the tone of the event. An image on Instagram names the instructor as “ALL LEVELS CLASS LED BY: JENNIFER HEMINGER @JENNIFERHEMINGER.” Instagram copy used punchy lines such as “Puppy Yoga? Yes, Really. 🧘♀️🐶” and “Stretch. Breathe. Giggle when a puppy steals your mat.” The account also posted “THIS CLASS HAS SOLD OUT. Stay tuned for more classes announced on this page.”
There is a noted discrepancy in the promotional materials: the ticketing and Facebook pages consistently list Feb. 21 at 3:00 p.m., while one Instagram image displays “PUPPY YOGA FEBRUARY 22ND, 3PM.” Platform metrics differ as well, Givebutter shows “11 Supporters” alongside the $460 total, while Facebook shows 51 responders; the listings do not reconcile those figures.
Givebutter’s campaign text states plainly that “Proceeds directly support shelter animals at Siskiyou Humane Society 501c3,” and the shelter’s Instagram provides contact details for ongoing support: Adoption Center at 1208 N Mt Shasta Blvd, open daily 12:30 p.m.–4:00 p.m., and donation handles Venmo: @siskiyouhumanesociety and Paypal: @siskiyouhumane. Organizers flagged the class sold out and encouraged followers to watch the shelter’s page for future sessions, underscoring that the $460 campaign met and slightly exceeded its fundraising target for rescue dogs.
