World Drummers Day 2026 Unites Global Communities Under Humanity Theme

From Krefeld, Germany to Lagos, Nigeria, drummers on two continents are set to converge on a single date this Saturday. April 4 is World Drummers' Day, the annual observance built by Christian Schages around the symmetry of the 04.04 calendar date, and in 2026 it carries the theme "We Drum For Humanity."

Schages, listed as the lead contact for the Krefeld event, has positioned the day since its inception as explicitly non-commercial and open to all skill levels.
