ULUM Moab, the safari-inspired luxury outdoor resort operated by Under Canvas and marketed as a MICHELIN Key hotel, announced expanded wellness programming for its 2026 season including the debut of a new massage cave and elevated food-and-beverage offerings. The resort sits amid the sweeping red rock landscapes of southern Utah, just steps from Looking Glass Arch, and will operate for the 2026 season from March 26 to October 29.

The headline physical addition is the massage cave, described in ULUM Resorts materials as a secluded sanctuary carved into natural rock. According to the resort copy, “Carved organically by nature, this striking rock cave sanctuary offers an immersive experience grounded in elemental beauty.” The stone-carved chamber is said to maintain a naturally balanced, perfectly ambient temperature year-round, and on-site therapies listed for the cave include Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Hot Stone treatments enhanced by Aesop massage oils “infused with botanical extracts and sophisticated aromas that deepen relaxation while nurturing the skin.”

The property’s expanded wellness menu pairs the cave with water-based recovery options. ULUM Resorts lists three outdoor dipping pools that offer a range of temperatures; the resort copy invites guests to “invigorate your morning with a dip in our cold plunge pool and relax after a day of adventure in our soothing hot plunge pool.” Additional programming named in the resort materials includes yoga and sound bath meditation alongside the cave massages and hot-and-cold dipping options.

Culinary offerings are being pushed alongside the wellness program. Under Canvas describes “elevated food-and-beverage offerings” at ULUM Moab, noting a full-service on-site restaurant plus an espresso and smoothie bar that “features intentionally sourced ingredients designed to support vitality, balance, and recovery.” The announcement also names a new partnership with Stakt as part of the expanded amenities; an Instagram post from the property referenced “access to Stakt functional” in relation to those amenities, though the Instagram copy supplied in the announcement was truncated.

Sustainability and site amenities remain part of the resort’s pitch. Under Canvas materials state ULUM Moab offers on-property EV charging and is DarkSky certified, adhering to dark sky principles in partnership with DarkSky International, which the materials call the resort’s sole nonprofit beneficiary. Visual assets referenced in the announcement include a captioned image of the “massage area in a natural stone cave at ULUM Moab” and a “view of ULUM Moab’s expansive lobby lounge at sunset.”

“Together, the massage cave and the expanded wellness offerings mark a new chapter for ULUM, deepening the resort’s commitment to immersive, nature-driven luxury and wellbeing,” said Matt Gaghen, chief executive officer of Under Canvas. “Through thoughtful design, intentional partnerships, and the transformative power of place, ULUM Moab invites travelers to experience stillness, connection, and renewal in the heart of the desert.” For bookings and more information, the resort directs guests to the ULUM Resorts website.
