Hammer76's Mazzanti Evantra add-on mod cleared 1,000 downloads within days of its March 21 public release, a rapid reception that reflects both the mod's polish and the rarity of the real car it recreates. The Mazzanti Evantra is a hand-crafted Italian supercar built in Tuscany in a production run of approximately five units per year, making it the kind of ultra-obscure machine that rarely finds its way into GTA V's garage through official channels — or unofficial ones.

Hammer76 held the mod privately for some time before going public, noting that "it had a lot of problems," and only decided to release it once those issues were resolved. The result is a version 1.0 add-on that runs on both GTA V Legacy and GTA V Enhanced, covering the full current player base across both editions of the game.

The mod includes dual body paint slots, four caliper paint options, six interior stitching colors, a customized speedometer, breakable glass, reflective mirrors, a detailed interior, fully working lights, and a functional steering wheel with hands on wheel. That feature set puts it firmly in the polished tier of vehicle mods rather than the rough-port category, which likely helped drive the quick download count.

Installation follows the standard add-on method: the evantra folder drops into the gtav/mods/update/x64/dlcpacks directory, with the dlcpacks:/evantra/ line added to dlclist.xml. A text file in the download walks through the steps, and the spawn name is simply "evantra."

The real-world car the mod is based on is no ordinary supercar. The Evantra V8 is equipped with a 6-speed sequential gearbox and can reach a top speed exceeding 217 mph, with a 0-100 km/h sprint taking about 3.2 seconds. It uses a tuned Chevrolet LS7 engine dropped into a mid-engine Tuscan body, making it the kind of oddball high-performance machine that belongs in Los Santos traffic. The mod's 40 MB download size is lean for what it delivers.

Hammer76 has an established catalog on GTA5-Mods.com, with releases including the 2026 Ferrari 849 Testarossa, the Puritalia Berlinetta, the Pister 911 GT3 992, the 2025 BMW M5 Sedan, and the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series. The Evantra crossed 1,000 downloads faster than several of those entries managed, suggesting that the combination of a prolonged development period and a genuinely obscure source car landed at exactly the right moment for the community.
