NorthernScot releases 2K Los Santos Police Department pack for GTA V roleplay
NorthernScot’s 2K LSPD pack gave GTA V RP crews four matched patrol liveries, a lightweight install, and a cleaner way to refresh an outdated fleet.

NorthernScot’s 2K Los Santos Police Department pack gave GTA V roleplay setups a quick way to modernize a police fleet without rebuilding the whole emergency-vehicle stack. Built around a Freetown Police Department-inspired look, the release focused on cohesion first: one themed livery set that can carry a department across multiple patrol platforms instead of scattering mismatched skins across the roster.
The pack launched with liveries for four common vehicles: a 2018 sedan, a 2016 sedan, a 2016 utility, and a 2011 sedan. That spread matters more than it sounds. In an active LSPD or sheriff-style build, those body styles usually make up the core of daily patrol traffic, from front-line cruisers to utility support. With one consistent design language across all four, a server can push a believable agency identity through the full fleet, and a solo player can refresh an older car pack without giving up variety.

It is also a practical release, not a heavy overhaul. The mod is livery-based rather than a full vehicle replacement, and the install follows the familiar OpenIV routine: swap the Sign_01 texture inside the target car’s Police.YTD file, then load a fresh GTA V session. For anyone already running a modded emergency fleet, that keeps the pack easy to slot in and easy to back out if needed. At 295 KB, it barely moves the needle on file size, which makes it especially useful for larger RP stacks where every extra add-on can turn into folder clutter.
NorthernScot also set the pack up as a living project. More models are expected in future updates, and the release had already received an update shortly after upload. That signals active development rather than a one-off skin dump, which is exactly what patrol-build players need when they are trying to keep a city’s police presence looking current. For GTA V roleplay, the value here is straightforward: a small pack that ties together several vehicle classes, installs cleanly, and gives an aging LSPD setup a sharper, more regionally specific identity.
