SHEBREW 2026 Opens Entries and Ticket Sales for Women’s Homebrew Festival
SheBrew opened entries and ticket sales for its March 7 Portland festival, with the national homebrew competition accepting entries through Feb. 20 and a Best of Show prize to collaborate with Natalie Baldwin.

SheBrew has reopened competition entries and put festival tickets on sale for its March 7, 2026 celebration at the Portland Art Museum, 1119 SW Park Ave. The nonprofit festival, organized locally by the Oregon Brew Crew in partnership with the Human Rights Campaign, says it will run two sessions that day and funnel proceeds to HRC, “100% of the fest proceeds to go to the Human Rights Campaign with the Oregon Brew Crew receiving proceeds from the competition.”
The national competition portal shows the 10th National Brew Competition is accepting account and entry registrations from 12/05/2025 8:00 AM PST through 02/20/2026 5:30 PM PST, with entry bottles accepted at drop‑off locations from 01/26/2026 4:00 PM PST through 02/20/2026 5:00 PM PST. As of 10:34 AM PST on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, 46 entries had been added to the system and 30 of those were paid entries. Judging is listed for Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 9:00 AM PST.
Practical details for attendees are explicit in ticket listings. Act HRC shows a $75 VIP ticket that includes “10 beer tasting tickets, a homebrew card valid for 10 tastings while supplies last, 1 hour early access to the first session, access to both sessions throughout the day, a commemorative SheBrew tasting glass, and an annual HRC membership or membership renewal.” General admission pricing varies by source, Act HRC lists a $40 second session GA while Sip Magazine lists $45 for the first session GA and $40 for the second session, but GA benefits cited include sample tickets, a commemorative tasting glass, a vote in the homebrew People’s Choice, and an HRC membership or renewal. The festival is open to all ages; only guests 21 and over may consume alcohol.
Sip Magazine and SheBrew promotional material lay out the festival scale and community programming. Sip reports SheBrew will showcase over 40 professional female brewers and 10 homebrewers from the Pacific Northwest, offer “40+ beers, ciders, GF beers, and more to sample,” and anticipates over two thousand attendees. Sip also notes attendees may sample and vote on homebrews for the People’s Choice prize, which the story says awards a brew day with Whitney Burnside of Grand Fir Brewing.
Competition awards and prizes include a Best of Show collaboration. BrewingCompetitions posts that the “Best of Show winner will receive the opportunity to create a collaboration beer with Natalie Baldwin in Portland, OR. If you are local or willing to travel (not paid for) you have the option of brewing it with her at the brewery; if not she will brew it herself.” Sources also list the People’s Choice prize with Whitney Burnside as noted above.
Several source conflicts remain in public listings and are noteworthy for entrants and attendees. First-session start times appear as either 11:00 AM–3:00 PM or 12:00 PM–3:00 PM across event pages, while the second session is consistently listed as 4:00 PM–7:00 PM and both Act HRC and Sip confirm VIP early access begins one hour before the first session. BrewingCompetitions contains two inconsistent awards statements: one line says Best of Show will be announced at the festival at the Portland Art Museum, while an Awards Ceremony entry lists an in‑person ceremony at Zoiglhaus Brewing Company, 5716 SE 92nd Ave, on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 5:30 PM PDT. The competition portal also lists awards pickup and posting deadlines that differ from festival dates.
Organizers stressing volunteer involvement and visitor support include the Oregon Brew Crew and HRC; SheBrew’s event team lists Shannon Scott, Jenn McPoland, Christine Garcia, Hillary Haskins, and Jeremie Landers. For visitor assistance, TravelPortland lists phone contacts for Portland visitor information and hours for assistance. Entrants and ticket buyers should consult SheBrew’s official site or HRC ticket pages for the final session start time and the confirmed awards ceremony location before travel or shipping entries.
