Wizards previews Two Scoops, Your Way Chaos Vault, reveals Crypt Ghast and Battle Hymn
Wizards gives Commander players an early look at Two Scoops, Your Way, with Crypt Ghast and Battle Hymn pointing to real reprint value.

Wizards is breaking from Chaos Vault’s usual surprise-first approach with Two Scoops, Your Way, previewing the product before the sale window opens and confirming at least two cards inside. That matters because Chaos Vault has built its reputation on scarcity and mystery, but this reveal gives players a real read on value before anyone has to make a buying decision.
The two cards shown are Crypt Ghast and Battle Hymn, and that pair tells Commander players a lot about what Wizards is aiming at. Crypt Ghast is the stronger pull by far, with solid secondary-market value and a long track record as a black Commander staple in decks that care about Swamps, mana doubling, and explosive spell turns. Battle Hymn is cheaper on the market, but it still has combo appeal and can matter in token-heavy Commander shells, especially when a board of creatures turns into a burst of red mana.

The rollout is even clearer because an earlier leak already exposed the contents of the Inked half of the product, giving players a surprisingly complete picture of what Two Scoops, Your Way may deliver once the sale goes live. Instead of one blind drop, Wizards is now showing its hand in pieces, which makes this feel less like a pure collector gamble and more like a curated reprint product with a built-in reveal strategy.
That shift changes the purchase calculus. A bundle format that sells two drops together forces buyers to weigh the whole package instead of chasing a single card, but it also raises the ceiling if the contents line up with what Commander decks actually want. For black decks leaning on swamp synergies, Crypt Ghast can justify attention on its own, while Battle Hymn adds a combo-friendly angle for token builds. The early preview suggests Chaos Vault is being used more deliberately now, as part promotional stunt, part limited-edition product, and part value reprint vehicle. For Commander players, the important part is simple: the cards are visible before the rush, and that makes this drop easier to evaluate than the usual Chaos Vault scramble.
