Tonetex Delivers Tail Expantion EP via MixCult Records in Montenegro
Tonetex dropped the Tail Expantion EP on MixCult Records, the Budva, Montenegro-based label building a deep electronic catalogue on Bandcamp.

Tonetex landed the Tail Expantion EP through MixCult Records on March 6, adding another entry to the Montenegro-based label's growing deep electronic roster.
MixCult operates out of Budva, the Adriatic coastal city that has quietly become home to one of the more focused minimal and deep techno imprints pushing releases through Bandcamp. The label's storefront functions as a running catalogue of that curatorial vision, and the Tail Expantion EP sits within that framework, presented alongside MixCult's broader body of work rather than isolated as a standalone event.
The release carries a short descriptive note on the label page, which is consistent with how MixCult tends to present its material: letting the music lead without burying it in press copy. For anyone who follows the label's output, that economy of words signals confidence in the work itself.

What the Tail Expantion EP contributes specifically to that catalogue is the kind of thing you have to hear through, but the fact that MixCult gave it a home is itself a data point worth noting. The label has developed enough of an identity that a placement there carries context. Budva is not Berlin, and MixCult is not operating in the center of the obvious techno geography, which is precisely what makes its sustained output interesting to track.
Tonetex's EP is available now on the MixCult Bandcamp page.
