The full video report from the Salon International du Train Miniature 2026 in Bourges is now live on YouTube, covering one of France's major events dedicated to model railways. Published on March 26, the video offers a complete tour of the two-day show in an immersive look at 5,000 square metres of exhibition space at the Parc Expo - Les Rives d'Auron, where exhibitors from France and across Europe gathered, including clubs and artisans from Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, and Poland. The YouTube listing bills it as a "full 360°!" experience, tagged as #0109 Model Railway Exhibition.

The third edition of the Salon brought together more than 12 countries represented, 45 exceptional layouts, and 120 exhibitors spanning artisans, retailers, professionals, and major manufacturers. According to the organiser's own reporting, more than 150 professional exhibitors, artisans, economic players, builders, and retailers presented their latest releases. The event ran March 14 and 15, both days from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with admission priced at €10.

The video covers brands including Hornby (Jouef, Rivarossi, Arnold, Electrotren and Lima), REE Modèles, R37, Lematec, Fulgurex, and many other specialised artisans and producers. Alongside the manufacturers and craftsmen, the event showcased an impressive number of layouts and dioramas, ranging from compact detailed scenes to large modular railways.

Attendees could look forward to immersive computer driving simulators, offering a taste of the thrill of train operation, alongside a charming 5" train ride designed for both children and adults. The driving simulators were operated by Papi Train, and the floor also featured an exhibition of SNCF uniforms from Balenciaga as a one-off novelty alongside the modelling hardware.
