Angelo's Pizza, Pasta and Deli Coming Soon to Gaithersburg's North Pointe at Flower Hill
Angelo's Pizza, Pasta and Deli is bringing its Brooklyn-rooted Italian menu to Gaithersburg's new North Pointe at Flower Hill, marking the brand's second Montgomery County location.

Angelo's Pizza, Pasta and Deli is coming to North Pointe at Flower Hill, a new 16,000-square-foot retail and restaurant center at 18251 Flower Hill Way in Gaithersburg. It will be the brand's second area location, joining its existing Rockville spot at 4011 Norbeck Road.
The menu features pizza, pasta, wings, subs, and calzones, plus specialty pies such as Chicken Tikka, Southwest Chipotle, and Truffle and Burrata. According to the restaurant, pizzas are made with fresh daily dough, scratch sauces, and carefully sourced cheeses and toppings. The Rockville location has built its reputation on great pizza, a fine selection of deli meats and cheeses, traditional Italian meals, and homemade sausage, raviolis, and other pastas.
The backstory behind Angelo's runs deeper than most strip-mall Italian spots. Established in 2008, Angelo started working from a very early age with his parents, helping with their Prospect Park Bakery and Pastry shop in Brooklyn, NY, where his parents, who had emigrated from Italy, worked hard to eventually own their own bakery that opened in 1972, before Angelo eventually found his way into cooking pizza and other traditional Italian dinners.
North Pointe at Flower Hill features seven spaces and sits on a two-acre parcel at the corner of MD Route 124 Woodfield Road and MD 115 Muncaster Mill Road. Other tenants coming soon to North Pointe include PJ's Coffee, Oak Barrel & Vine, Inspire Nail Bar, and Plaza Mexico, which will open a rooftop restaurant and bar as the center's anchor. North Pointe adjoins its sister properties including the 76,000-square-foot Flower Hill Professional Center and the 93,840-square-foot Flower Hill Shopping Center.
For pasta lovers in Gaithersburg, the addition of Angelo's at North Pointe puts a legitimate Italian-American kitchen with decades of Brooklyn dough-making lineage right in their backyard, and that Truffle and Burrata pie alone is reason enough to watch for an opening date.
