Cent Anni to Open Contemporary Pasta-Focused Italian Restaurant in St John's Wood
Cent Anni will open at 21 Loudoun Road in St John’s Wood during the opening week of March 2026, taking over the former Café Med with 48 covers indoors and a terrace for up to 60.

Cent Anni is scheduled to open in St John’s Wood during the opening week of March 2026, the company announced in a piece published Feb. 25, 2026. The restaurant will occupy 21 Loudoun Road, the former Café Med site, and is an expansion of the Cent Anni brand that launched a Wimbledon Village branch at 33 High St in 2019. Owner Raymond de Fazio is listed as the proprietor of the new St John’s Wood location.
The venue sits in a Grade II listed building near the Abbey Road zebra crossing and has undergone a refurbishment ahead of the March opening. The fit-out described on the brand site and in advance coverage pairs a neutral colour palette with light walnut wood flooring, banquette and chair seating in olive and seaweed shades, new lighting, a working fireplace and an open kitchen. Indoor seating is listed at 48 covers while an outdoor terrace will accommodate up to 60 people.
Menu development for the St John’s Wood restaurant is being overseen by head chef Elton Souta da Silva. Starters published in early previews include Calamari Fritti with lemon mayonnaise, Vitello Tonnato, Arancini Cacio e Pepe, Salmon Tartare with sourdough crisp and Burrata paired with Sicilian datterini tomatoes. Pasta and risotto offerings range from linguine with king prawns to a mascarpone, broad bean, pea and mint risotto. Main courses named in the menu preview include Veal Milanese, oven-baked cod, calves liver, sea bass and a selection of steak cuts, while desserts list Amalfi Lemon Tart, Tiramisù and Vanilla Panna Cotta with Blood Orange Marmalade.
Owner Raymond de Fazio framed the concept around neighbourhood hospitality and wider London appeal, stating, “This is a restaurant for the neighbours, but we also want to appeal to a broader London audience, whether for family gatherings, dinner with friends or colleagues, or drinks and snacks on the terrace.” The Cent Anni website positions the brand as “a modern neighbourhood Italian restaurant rooted in tradition and built for today” and carries the header line MODERN IN SPIRIT - ITALIAN AT HEART.

Practical details on the site include reservations, private dining and menus; the first-floor private dining facilities are described as having one room seating up to 12. Press enquiries are directed to Maureen Mills at Network London PR via maureen@networklondonpr.com, and the site lists image assets and social channels including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for further materials.
There are similarly named restaurants in the United States - listings show a Cent'Anni at 742 Franklin Ave in Brooklyn with a separate history - but the London materials do not link those operations to the Cent Anni opening in St John’s Wood. With a Wimbledon origin in 2019 and a St John’s Wood site ready for March 2026, Cent Anni aims to add a contemporary, pasta-centered Italian option to the neighbourhood near Abbey Road.
