Peak Pasta launches at BYU-Idaho Crossroads as IBC student-run fresh pasta operation
Peak Pasta opened Feb 24, 2026 inside BYU–Idaho’s Crossroads food hall as an Integrated Business Core student company selling fresh pasta bowls and related items.

Peak Pasta launched Feb 24, 2026 at BYU–Idaho’s Crossroads food hall, introducing a student-run operation devoted to fresh pasta bowls and related items. The concept occupies space among the Crossroads vendors on campus and opened to students and staff during regular food‑hall service hours on its first day.
The business is operated through BYU–Idaho’s Integrated Business Core program, known on campus as IBC. As an IBC student company, Peak Pasta links entrepreneurship coursework with practical business duties: students handle day-to-day production, point-of-sale service, and the logistics required to run a fresh-food outlet within a university dining facility.
Peak Pasta’s menu centers on fresh pasta bowls prepared for immediate sale in the Crossroads food hall. The operation emphasizes on-campus availability, positioning its counter alongside existing vendors in the Crossroads dining space to reach students between classes and faculty during meal periods. Related items accompany the bowls to round out quick-service meals for the BYU–Idaho community.
Student involvement is fundamental to the concept: Peak Pasta is explicitly described as a student-run food business, giving Integrated Business Core participants direct experience in operating a food-service enterprise on campus. The launch day activity on Feb 24 brought the IBC classroom into the practical setting of a campus food hall, translating entrepreneurship lessons into customer-facing service in a university environment.
Campus leaders and IBC instructors designed Peak Pasta to function within the Crossroads footprint, making the food hall the permanent site for the student company’s sales and operations. The presence of Peak Pasta adds a new fresh-pasta option to Crossroads’ lineup, diversifying meal choices available to BYU–Idaho students, faculty, and staff who use the on-campus dining facility.
After the Feb 24 opening, Peak Pasta will continue as an IBC-managed enterprise on the BYU–Idaho campus, maintaining its fresh pasta bowls and related menu items in the Crossroads food hall while students gain hands-on experience running a campus-based food business.
