The Slice is bringing its New York-style pizza and pasta formula to downtown Greer, where the restaurant was slated to open its third Upstate location on May 19 at 107 S. Main St.

The move puts another familiar casual dining option in one of the Upstate’s most visible Main Street corridors, and it extends a brand that has already built a following in Simpsonville and Fountain Inn. The Slice already operates at 134 S. Main St. in Simpsonville and as The Slice 2.0 at 119 N. Main St. in Fountain Inn, giving Greer a third stop on a growing local map that regulars can recognize at a glance.

The Greer location was described as having about 60 seats and a full bar, a format that fits the brand’s broad, crowd-friendly menu. Guests can expect the same lineup that helped the business grow in the first place: New York-style pizza, pasta, wings, salad and other scratch-made items. That mix matters for pasta fans because it shows the dish is not a side note here. Pasta has been a meaningful part of the concept from the start, accounting for roughly 15% to 20% of sales in a 2025 profile, while pizza made up about 60%.

That sales mix helps explain why The Slice has room to expand. The company was described as a community favorite in Simpsonville and Fountain Inn, and trade coverage said some nights bring more than 1,100 dine-in guests and more than 600 takeout orders. Those numbers point to a restaurant that has already proven it can handle volume without losing the neighborhood feel that keeps people coming back for another pie or bowl of pasta.

The growth also shows how quickly the concept has scaled. The first Slice pizzeria opened in March 2021, the second location arrived in October 2024, and a third unit was expected by the end of 2025 before the Greer opening firmed up for May 19. Marsh Bell, which partnered on the project, said, “We are proud to announce we are partnering with The Slice to bring their quintessential pizzeria to Downtown Greer!” For Main Street diners, the significance is simple: another recognizable place to meet, order, and stay awhile, with pasta on the menu and a proven crowd behind it.
