Godox USA unifies support, service centers, and education under MAC Group
Godox is putting U.S. sales, support, and repairs under one roof, with three service centers and a new education push aimed at working shooters.

For photographers who have spent too many hours bouncing between a dealer, a warranty form, and a separate support inbox, the real news is not just that Godox is changing its U.S. structure. It is that ordering, repairs, warranty claims, training, and dealer support are being pulled into one channel, with studios, schools, and solo shooters likely to feel the difference first.
MAC Group and MPEX Distribution announced the formation of Godox USA on April 27, and the new setup takes effect with sales and support beginning May 1 through authorized dealers nationwide and directly from the company’s U.S. site. Godox USA will also run full technical support and service centers in New York, Ohio, and California, a practical shift for anyone who has had to ship a flash head, a modifier, or a battery-powered fixture across the country and then wait for a separate answer on warranty coverage.

That consolidation matters because Godox gear often lives in mixed kits. A working photographer may use Godox flashes for stills, Godox LED fixtures for video, and accessories that all depend on the same ecosystem. Under the company’s authorized-distributor model, retail stores are meant to provide product training, after-sales repairs, technical support, and other services, which is exactly the kind of structure that can turn a brand from a parts bin into a dependable workflow. Godox products will still be sold through retailers such as B&H, so the shift is less about cutting off channels than about making the post-purchase path clearer.
The move also follows the November 13, 2025 partnership that made MAC Group the exclusive U.S. distributor of Godox LED and KnowLED solutions. That earlier step brought those products into a more defined American pipeline; the new Godox USA umbrella widens it across the full lineup, from entry-level lighting to higher-end KnowLED fixtures. Godox, founded in 1993, has spent years building breadth into its catalog, and that breadth makes unified service more valuable when a single studio can own strobes, panels, and accessories from the same brand.

Education is now part of the plan, too. Godox USA is folding into MAC Group’s Photo Video EDU program, which already offers 20% discounts to qualifying students, educators, schools, museums, libraries, and archives. For classroom programs and campus studios, that means a clearer route from purchase to support to replacement parts, with training and service tied into the same ecosystem. Godox LED and KNOWLED products purchased in the U.S. already carry a 12-month warranty on electronic and mechanical parts, plus a 90-day limited warranty on repaired equipment, so the new structure gives that warranty a more visible home. For a lighting brand that lives or dies by uptime, that is the kind of change photographers notice long after the press release is gone.
