Rockland Pickleball Club opened its doors in Valley Cottage with a pitch that goes beyond court rental: eight indoor cushioned courts, instant replay features and a club model built for players who want dependable time on the floor, not weather roulette.

The facility at 704 Executive Blvd., Valley Cottage, NY 10989, used a PodPlay replay system and a Pro-Cushion surface that the club’s listings said delivered 18% cushion without any loss of bounce. Court reservations were available through the club’s app seven days a week starting at 7 a.m., a schedule that fits the kind of early-start, repeat-play routine many regional travelers now look for when they plan a pickleball escape.

Rich Blasetti and Diane Caruso, a husband-and-wife team from Westchester, owned the club. Blasetti said the facility had already been open for a couple of months by the time of the ribbon-cutting, which marked the point where the business shifted from launch mode into a more settled role as a community hub. The site’s booking, memberships, pricing, tournaments, events and FAQs pages pointed to a club built for more than quick drop-ins.

That broader club identity matters in a market where indoor pickleball is becoming a clearer draw for players who want guaranteed court time, better footing and replay review. A December 2025 report said Rockland Pickleball Club planned to take 21,500 square feet at Clarkstown Executive Park and become Rockland County’s first dedicated indoor pickleball facility, underscoring how new this category still is in the Hudson Valley.

News 12 previously reported that the club wanted to be a place for both play and community connection, and cited the Sports & Fitness Industry Association’s estimate that pickleball reached 19.8 million players in 2024. For travelers chasing shorter regional pickleball getaways, that combination of premium surfaces, instant replay and seven-day booking signals where the retreat market is heading next: indoors, predictable and built around the certainty of court time.
