WTT Contender Tunis 2026 Set for Six Days of International Action
The WTT Contender Tunis 2026, carrying a $100,000 prize pot, is three days into its six-day run at the Palais des Sports El Menzah with matches streaming live on WTT's YouTube channel.

The WTT Contender Tunis 2026 is the fourth table tennis tournament of the WTT Contender Series this year and the second event at the Contender level, hosted at the Palais des Sports El Menzah in the Cité olympique district of Tunis, Tunisia. Organized by the Tunisian Table Tennis Federation under the auspices of World Table Tennis, the six-day tournament runs March 24 to 29, with a total prize pool of $100,000 on the line for medalists.
Eleven French players are chasing ranking points and prize money in Tunis, led by Flavien Coton and Camille Lutz. Coton, ranked 28th in the world, heads the French men's contingent alongside Joe Seyfried (48th), Lilian Bardet (49th), Jules Rolland (77th), and Florian Bourrassaud (91st, on a wildcard). The field otherwise draws the usual Contender-level blend of international professionals and regional contenders looking to build their ITTF ranking in the lead-up to summer's Grand Smash calendar.
The tournament applies a Top 20 Participation Restriction, capping the singles draw at a maximum of three players ranked inside the top 20 of the ITTF World Ranking at the time of the entry deadline. Each member association is allowed a maximum of four players per event, excluding any WTT nominations. Tunisia, as host nation, is entitled to twelve wildcard entries into the singles qualifying draw and two pairs for the doubles.
Matches from the tournament are being streamed live through a dedicated playlist on the WTT YouTube channel. For those tracking scores in real time, Flashscore is carrying results across all disciplines, including a dedicated page for the mixed doubles draw with fixtures and match details.
Tunisia is not new to hosting WTT events. The Contender Tunis has become a regular fixture on the African leg of the global circuit, and the Palais des Sports El Menzah, with its location inside the Cité olympique complex, gives the event a stadium feel that stands out from the more anonymous convention-hall venues typical of the Contender tier.
Every win in Tunis translates directly into ranking points, with players targeting the top 50 to secure better seedings at upcoming Grand Smash events. For anyone following the WTT Contender Series standings, the next three days in Tunisia will move the needle.
