Zenless Zone Zero heads to Steam later this year
Zenless Zone Zero is heading to Steam with a live store page, cross-platform account sync and a testing sign-up already open.

HoYoverse has put Zenless Zone Zero on Steam, and the move matters because it gives the game a cleaner on-ramp for PC players who never bothered with another launcher. The Steam store page is live, the release window is listed as Q2 2026, and the rollout already includes a wishlist campaign with rewards that go up to 60 Polychromes and 6,666 Dennies.
The Steam version is not a soft tease. HoYoverse opened sign-ups for Steam Advance Testing, and the company says the test will use the same servers and game content as the live version. Steam community notes also say account data will sync across Steam and other platforms when players log in with the same account, which is the detail that matters most for anyone already invested in New Eridu and not eager to start over. Selected advance-test accounts will be permanent, and the sign-up window runs through May 5, 2026 at 23:59 UTC+8.

HoYoverse is also being precise about the rollout geography. The Steam version currently supports America, Europe, Asia, and TW/HK/MO servers, matching the game’s existing global footprint rather than adding a new region launch. Zenless Zone Zero originally released across all platforms on July 4, 2024, and HoYoverse’s launch FAQ said the game shipped with four servers at the start: Americas, Asia, Europe, and Taiwan/Hong Kong/Macau. Steam is not expanding the game into a new territory so much as giving an already global live-service title a second major PC storefront.
That matters for visibility as much as convenience. Zenless Zone Zero is a free-to-play urban fantasy ARPG built around fast combat and a highly stylized presentation that fits PC hardware better than a cramped phone screen, and Steam gives it a chance to reach players who browse Valve’s ecosystem before they ever open a publisher launcher. For existing PC players, the real gain is not a new game client so much as a more convenient place to live inside the same account ecosystem.
The timing also suggests HoYoverse wants the Steam push to ride alongside a bigger content beat. The company said Version 2.8, New: Eridan Sunset, will launch on May 6, 2026, positioning the Steam rollout next to the last chapter of Season 2. That makes this less like a routine store listing and more like a coordinated attempt to turn Steam’s discovery machine into a second launch window for a game that already had one.
