Warhammer Skulls returns for 10th anniversary with Space Marine 2 news
Skulls lands on 21 May with Space Marine 2 news, a week of discounts, and Mechanicus II dropping the same day.

Warhammer Skulls has turned into one of the most useful dates on the 40k calendar, and the 10th anniversary edition looks built to matter. The showcase lands on 21 May at 5pm BST, 6pm CEST and 9am PST, with Space Marine 2 news, a full week of discounts on selected Warhammer video games, and a rare same-day release in Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II.
Warhammer Community says the event is not just a livestream, but a week-long push running through 28 May. Alanah Pearce is hosting the anniversary showcase, adding a familiar face to a lineup that reaches well beyond one franchise corner. Warhammer is also putting names to the games that will show up, with news promised from Darktide, Rogue Trader, Dark Heresy, Boltgun 2, Warhammer Survivors, Dawn of War IV and more.
That mix is what gives Skulls its weight. Space Marine 2 keeps the grimdark action lane in front of a mainstream audience. Darktide keeps the co-op horde-shooter crowd in orbit. Rogue Trader and Dark Heresy carry the cRPG side of the setting, while Boltgun 2 keeps the retro-shooter streak alive. Dawn of War IV is the kind of title that can pull lapsed players back toward the 41st Millennium in a single trailer, and Warhammer Survivors widens the net further. Reporting tied to the announcement also points to appearances from Focus Entertainment, Saber Interactive, Fatshark, Owlcat Games, Devolver Digital, Auroch Digital, Sega, Creative Assembly, Slitherine, Deep Silver and KING Art Games.

Mechanicus II makes the week even sharper. Kasedo Games and Bulwark Studios have set the strategy sequel for 21 May on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, putting a major 40k release directly under the Skulls spotlight. That timing gives the showcase a concrete hook beyond trailers and teases, because one of the biggest names in the strategy space will arrive on the same day the festival opens.
The promotion side matters too. Skulls began as a platform sale for Warhammer video games and has grown into a broader campaign of sales, reveals and roadmap beats across the digital catalog. Warhammer Community described it as a seventh-year event in 2023, an eighth-year event in 2024 and a ninth-year event in 2025, before this year’s 10th anniversary. For 40k fans who only step into the video game side when the universe is about to shift, 21 May is the day to watch.
