Wētā Workshop Unveils Limited 1:6 Scale Mephiston Statue for Collectors
Wētā Workshop's limited-edition Mephiston statue captures the Lord of Death mid-psychic surge, with just 750 pieces available and a free prize draw closing 1 April.

Only 750 of Wētā Workshop's 1:6 scale Mephiston statue exist, and preorders opened on 26 March alongside the AdeptiCon 2026 preview reveal. For anyone who wants a shot at one without paying full price, a MyWarhammer prize draw closes 1 April UK time.
The statue captures Chief Librarian Mephiston of the Blood Angels "in the instant before he unleashes his wrath." Lightning crackles from his head and fingertips; Vitarus, his force sword, glows in cerulean fire; and the figure stands posed on the steps of the Arx Angelicum. The battle-worn armour carries the full Blood Angels iconography: skulls, blood vials, and layered campaign damage rendered in polystone at museum-scale resolution. Warhammer Community's reveal coverage praised the "grim majesty" of the sculpt, and the accompanying video showcases the piece in enough close-up detail to appreciate the psychic discharge effects alone.
The 1:6 scale pays off across every surface. Resolution on individual armour panels and force weapon effects turns this into a usable hobby reference, particularly the Vitarus sculpt and the layered blood-iconography work that defines the Blood Angels aesthetic.
Preorder listings went live at BigBadToyStore and Wētā Workshop's own shop in the same week as the reveal, with pricing and estimated ship windows published on those pages. The MyWarhammer prize draw runs concurrently, with the 1 April UK deadline requiring a simple account login to enter for a chance to win a statue outright.
At 750 units, this edition sits in the territory where Wētā's limited runs tend to sell through before secondary market interest resets expectations on price. The preorder window is open.
