AAW Remote Demonstrations Calendar Fills Up With March 2026 Tool Talks
Cindy's free Tool Talk livestream hits the AAW remote demos calendar tomorrow, March 13, with live turning, tool tips, and a raffle open to all.
The AAW's Remote Demonstrations Calendar is carrying a full slate of March 2026 events, with Cindy's Woodturning Tool Talk Livestream scheduled for tomorrow, March 13, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM ET headlining the current listings.
The session is free and open to everyone, running on a recurring every-other-Friday schedule. In her own calendar listing, the host describes the format directly: "Watch me turn something live online at my Woodturning Tool Talk! It's free and open to everyone, and is live every other Friday. I show tools, woodturning tips, and upcoming events or interesting Woodturning stuff. Join the conversation! Comment, ask questions, or say Hello. Win a prize in the Raffle!" To receive the direct link, participants need to subscribe to the host's mailing list, which also delivers access to other free events.
The AAW calendar notes that all demonstrations listed are presented independently by AAW member demonstrators. Anyone with registration questions is directed to contact the demonstrator directly, and the calendar carries a clear disclaimer: "AAW is not responsible for inaccurate entries."
Looking further ahead on the same calendar page, the Spring Vendor Showcase is listed for April 11, noon to 4:00 PM EDT (16:00 to 20:00 UTC), bringing together Steve Worcester, Joe Fleming, Mike OB of Lyle Jamieson Woodturning, Tod Raines, and Cindy Drozda, with guest Carl Jacobson of Niles Bottle Stoppers. That four-hour session includes Tool Showcases, Mini-Demos, Weekend Specials, Q&A time, and a charity auction of collaborations to benefit the North Texas Food Bank.

For turners interested in getting their own events onto the calendar, AAW accepts submissions at $25 per event and recommends submitting at least two weeks in advance for best placement. Each submitted event gets posted to the calendar and promoted in one Beyond the Bevel email ahead of the event date.
The original calendar summary also referenced additional March sessions, including what appears to be an "Egg Box"-titled demonstration, though full details on that listing were not available at press time. The complete March calendar is accessible through the AAW Remote Demonstrations Calendar page, where registration links for each event are posted alongside demonstrator descriptions.
