New yoga studio opens in Roslyn on July 18

CorePower Yoga opens its first Long Island studio in Roslyn on July 18, giving the village a new in-person practice option as the chain begins a wider island expansion. The Roslyn location is the first local foothold for a brand Newsday described as the nation’s largest yoga chain.

The Roslyn studio is part of a plan to open three Long Island locations by early 2027, with Huntington Station and Uniondale also named in the rollout. CorePower’s own Roslyn studio page identifies the site as a coming-soon Long Island location, underscoring that this opening is the start of a broader push rather than a one-off neighborhood debut.

That matters in Roslyn because the area already has a yoga history and a customer base that knows the difference between a studio with real class traffic and a space that only looks busy on paper. Roslyn Hot Yoga & Wellness by Buddha Jams previously operated in town and promoted Yin, Restorative and Chair Yoga, with classes running seven days a week from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. The new CorePower opening lands in a market that has already shown demand for early-morning sessions, low-impact formats and a steady all-day schedule.

Roslyn’s location also gives the studio a built-in neighborhood role. For residents who want a nearby mat before work, after work or on weekends, a Roslyn address is different from crossing town lines for every class. That kind of convenience is often what turns a studio into part of the local routine, not just another fitness option on a list.
