Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson Split, Calling Off 7-Month Engagement
Kelly Osbourne, 41, and Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson, 49, have called off their engagement, just seven months after Wilson proposed with a £500K Mouawad honeycomb diamond ring.

Kelly Osbourne, 41, and Slipknot turntablist Sid Wilson, 49, have quietly ended their seven-month engagement, with insiders confirming the split amid what has been a devastating stretch for Osbourne following the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne, in July 2025.
The proposal, on July 5, 2025, was the kind of moment that seems designed to last a lifetime. Wilson got down on one knee backstage at Ozzy Osbourne's final concert with Black Sabbath at Villa Park in Birmingham, England, with Kelly's mother Sharon and brother Jack watching. Ozzy himself was present, and true to form, could not resist: "F k off, you're not marrying my daughter," he joked, before Wilson continued and Kelly, visibly stunned, said yes.
The ring Wilson placed on her finger that night was no ordinary piece. Wilson opted for a distinctive ring inspired by his heart-warming nickname for Kelly, "Honeybee," made in 18-karat yellow gold, featuring a central round brilliant white diamond surrounded by white and yellow diamonds and citrine accents set in a honeycomb design. Wilson worked with Pascal Mouawad of Mouawad on the bespoke piece. The center stone is a brilliant 2.5-carat round white diamond. Valued by some reports at £500,000, the ring was also a tribute to Kelly's late collaborator Joan Rivers. "I have a nickname for her: Honeybee," Wilson told Pascal Mouawad in a July 7 Instagram video, "and coincidentally, a friend of hers, Joan Rivers, used to call her this." Rivers had used the nickname for Kelly during their years together co-hosting E!'s "Fashion Police." Kelly's own reaction, posted to Instagram the day after the proposal: "Oh, and this happened yesterday!"
Sid proposed to Kelly at her father Ozzy Osbourne's final concert in July 2025, just over two weeks before Ozzy's death at the age of 76. What should have been the beginning of an engagement became one of the last memories Kelly would have of her father in good health. Ozzy received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the BRITs this year, at which Kelly wore a gold "Dad" ring in tribute, noticeably without her engagement ring.
Osbourne and Wilson began dating in January 2022 and welcomed their son, Sidney, at the end of that year. The pair had actually been friends since 1999, when Slipknot toured with Ozzfest, the music festival founded by Kelly's parents, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. On Valentine's Day 2022, Kelly publicly declared: "After 23 years of friendship, I can't believe where we have ended up. You are my best friend, my soulmate, and I am so deeply in love with you, Sidney George Wilson." Kelly and Sid were last seen together at the 2026 Grammy Awards, where they share a three-year-old son, Sidney Wilson-Osbourne.

The ring's absence had already been telling. Kelly was last spotted wearing the Mouawad piece at a pre-Grammys event on January 31. She removed it for the Grammy ceremony itself, and when she appeared in an Omaze commercial alongside her mother Sharon, believed filmed in February, her finger was bare.
"Kelly and Sid have decided to call off their engagement," an insider told the Daily Mail. "Kelly has been struggling following the loss of her father. The grieving process has been incredibly difficult, and she's been doing everything she can to cope. In truth, she and Sid have been facing challenges in their relationship for some time, and things were not as they appeared." The source continued: "They tried to make it work, particularly for the sake of their child, but ultimately decided that separating is the best path forward. Kelly has endured a great deal over the past year. Despite everything, she remains sober and is now focusing on herself and her role as a mother moving ahead."
No public statements have been issued by either Osbourne or Wilson, and the reporting as of March 23 rests on unnamed sourcing. What remains undeniable is the weight of the timeline: a proposal at a father's last show, the father gone weeks later, and a £500,000 ring designed around a nickname that two people, both now absent from her daily life, once shared for the same woman.
