For the Oscars appearance itself, Zendaya arrived in what Elle described as a minimalist one-shoulder brown Louis Vuitton gown, while Harper's Bazaar characterized it as a custom chocolate design with an asymmetrical halter-style neckline that draped down one arm for a half off-the-shoulder effect. Both accounts place the house firmly as Louis Vuitton. Elle identified her earrings as Cindy Chao The Art Jewel diamond branch pieces, worn alongside a Cindy Chao ring and a Rolex watch. Pattinson, her co-presenter, wore a classic black tuxedo without a tie.
