Allendale County Offers Online Tools for Meeting Access and Public Records

Allendale County has built out a set of online tools that allow residents to follow local government from home, including live or recorded access to county council meetings, digital viewing of agendas and minutes, and a pathway for submitting public records requests without visiting a county office in person.

The tools are aimed specifically at closing the gap between the county's decision-making processes and residents who face barriers to attending meetings physically, whether due to work schedules, transportation, disability, or distance from the county seat.
