Peter Cottontail is skipping the bunny trail for one morning, and Millbrook Community Theatre is cashing in on the detour.

The theatre at 5720 Main St. is holding a fundraising pancake breakfast on Saturday, April 4, with "Peter Cottontail" making a special stop to visit with guests. The event runs from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The family-friendly fundraiser supports much-needed audio and lighting upgrades to bring three musicals to life later this year: "Alice in Wonderland" in July, "The Addams Family" in September, and a 20th anniversary finale with Disney's "Frozen" in November. The audio and lighting investment ties directly to the theatre's most ambitious season to date, making Saturday's breakfast more than a community outing.

Each plate includes pancakes, sausage, and a choice of coffee, juice, or water. Guests can enjoy breakfast while Peter visits their table, then take Easter photos before heading out.

Tickets are $10 and available now at millbrooktheatre.com.
