Huntington Man Arrested After Brief ATV Escape Near US-30 Traffic Stop

A 64-year-old Huntington man briefly fled an attempted traffic stop on a four-wheeler near the intersection of Lincoln Street and U.S. 30 before being taken into custody, Oregon State Police reported.

OSP said in a Feb. 19 report that the attempted traffic stop occurred on the evening of Sunday, Feb. 13, 2026, when troopers engaged the rider near Lincoln Street/US-30 in Huntington. The agency identified the vehicle involved as a four-wheeler (ATV) and described the flight from officers as short-lived.
