Man Shot Multiple Times, Killed on Wilkens Avenue in Southwest Baltimore
A man was found shot multiple times on Wilkens Avenue in Baltimore's Millhill neighborhood Thursday night and later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Officers on patrol in the 2600 block of Wilkens Avenue found a man lying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds around 9:39 p.m. Thursday, March 19. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The shooting occurred in the Millhill neighborhood of southwest Baltimore. Reports on the victim's age differ, with one account placing him at 50 and another at 36; Baltimore Police Department has not publicly released an official identification.
Crime lab technicians were photographed collecting evidence at the scene. Homicide detectives have assumed control of the investigation.
