Decatur County Commission sets public meeting for July 27 at courthouse

Decatur County commissioners will meet in public at 6 p.m. Monday, July 27, at the Decatur County Courthouse, 22 West Main Street in Decaturville. For households watching taxes, roads, emergency services, schools or fees, that is where county business can start moving before votes are finalized. The courthouse site also keeps the meeting within reach of residents from Decaturville, Parsons, Scotts Hill and Bath Springs, and the county says people who need disability accommodations should contact the county mayor’s office before the meeting.

The county government lists 18 commissioners representing nine districts.
