Lawrence woman arrested after foot chase in west Lawrence

A 29-year-old Lawrence woman was arrested Thursday evening after deputies chased her on foot through west Lawrence and ended the pursuit near a golf course.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said the woman was taken into custody on two outstanding warrants, and deputies added additional charges after the foot pursuit. She was later booked into the Douglas County Jail.
