Jasper Wildcats Top Northeast Dubois 11-8, Improve to 4-2

Jasper's baseball team rallied past county rival Northeast Dubois 11-8 Friday night in a high-scoring contest, pushing the Wildcats to 4-2 on the 2026 season.

The two Dubois County programs squared off in one of the region's more charged rivalries, and Friday's game delivered on that billing. The eight-run night for Northeast Dubois kept things competitive, but Jasper's 11-run output was ultimately too much for the Jeeps to overcome.

Head coach Terry Gobert's Wildcats, a Class 3A program that has made Ruxer Field one of the more respected baseball venues in southern Indiana, have now won three of their last four contests.
