OneEighty Fundraiser Dinner Returns April 25 to Support Holmes County Services
OneEighty's Taste Extravaganza returns April 25 in Millersburg, raising funds for Holmes County domestic violence and substance-use services; adult tickets cost $25.

When a Holmes County resident walks into OneEighty's office at 34-C South Clay Street in Millersburg, they might be seeking outpatient counseling for addiction, enrolling in medication-assisted treatment, or connecting for the first time with a peer support specialist who has lived through recovery. The range of services OneEighty provides in Holmes County is broad, and sustaining it requires community investment. On April 25, the agency's biannual Taste Extravaganza aims to deliver that investment in one evening.
The event, formally titled the "Night of 180 Dinners," runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at Millersburg Methodist Community Church, 5395 Township Road 336. About two dozen local "celebrity" chefs from area restaurants and businesses will set up small-plate tasting stations throughout the church, with all proceeds directed to OneEighty's Holmes County domestic violence, sexual assault, and recovery programs.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for children ages 7 to 12, and free for children under 6. They are available for advance purchase at OneEighty's Millersburg office at 34-C South Clay St. or by calling (330) 674-1020. The Holmes County Friends of OneEighty, the local volunteer group that organizes the fundraiser, coordinates ticket sales and can connect interested residents with sponsorship opportunities as well.
In addition to the tasting stations, the evening will include a 50/50 raffle and either a raffle or auction of a piece of Holmes County pottery. Organizers accept dietary accommodation requests in advance for those who contact the office ahead of the event.

The funds raised support the full range of OneEighty's Holmes County services, including virtual and in-person outpatient counseling, residential treatment for men and women with substance use disorders, medication-assisted treatment combining medication with counseling, peer support services, and life-skills and housing transition assistance for people in longer-term recovery. OneEighty also operates three 24-hour crisis hotlines: domestic violence and sexual assault at 1-800-686-1122, substance use crisis at 330-466-0678, and peer support at 330-464-1423.
The Millersburg office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For a rural county where social-service providers depend substantially on local fundraising to stay operational, the April 25 dinner represents one of the more direct ways Holmes County residents and businesses can keep those services accessible to neighbors who need them.
