Valentine Anthony Mower Jr. remembered, services set in Iron River

Valentine Anthony Mower Jr., 85, died Jan. 15 while in the care of Villa Maria Health and Rehabilitation Center in Hurley, Wisconsin, with loved ones by his side. His services will bring family and friends back to Iron River on June 6, with visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Jacobs Funeral Home, 405 West Cayuga Street, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 702 North Fourth Avenue, where Fr. Daniel Fosu will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Iron River.

Mower was born April 22, 1940, in Iron River, the beloved first son of Valentine and Ida (Vantaggi) Mower.
