NHP Investigates Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Charleston Park Avenue in Pahrump
Nevada Highway Patrol says troopers responded about 6:15 p.m. Feb. 21 after a passenger sedan struck an adult on eastbound Charleston Park Avenue west of Happy Lane; the crash was fatal.

The Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) is investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred Saturday evening, February 21, 2026, on eastbound Charleston Park Avenue in Pahrump, the agency and local news posts said. Troopers described the crash as fatal and identified the location as eastbound Charleston Park Avenue west of Happy Lane.
Troopers responded about 6:15 p.m. to the scene west of Happy Lane where, according to the original report, "a passenger sedan struck an adult ma". That sentence in the report is truncated at that point; the report and the Nevadan Highway Patrol attribution provide the time, general location and vehicle type but stop short of additional identifying details about the victim.
KSNV News 3 posted an item on Facebook that mirrored the NHP account, writing "Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian Saturday evening in Pahrump." The KSNV capture visible in the post shows at least 10 image references in the embed and lists engagement of 9 reactions, 15 comments and 1 share at the time the capture was taken.
Several Facebook commenters on the KSNV post claim that bystander video or footage exists. Comments shown in the capture include Naluri Ikhwan saying "someone caught the whole thing, peep it" and two near-identical strings from Willy Jefrianto and Maisya Dp reading ',"Someone ,c4vght' the whole'thing",this one People are crying over this footage'. Another commenter, Dianne Graham, posted an emoji sequence referencing images: "Image 7: 🙏Image 8: 🕊️Image 9: 😢Image 10: 💔". The post view also shows the Facebook UI note "Most relevant is selected, so some comments may have been filtered out."

Neither the original report nor the KSNV Facebook post provided the pedestrian's name, age or gender, and neither item states whether the person was pronounced dead at the scene or later at a hospital. The sources also do not say whether the driver of the passenger sedan was injured, detained or charged, and they do not confirm the authenticity or existence of any video beyond social media commenters' claims.
The Nevada Highway Patrol remains the investigating agency in the matter and troopers are listed as the responding officers in the report. NHP has not released additional identifying information in the materials captured by the original report and the KSNV Facebook post; the available public record at this time is limited to the date, the roughly 6:15 p.m. response time, the eastbound Charleston Park Avenue location west of Happy Lane, and the description that a passenger sedan struck an adult in a crash that proved fatal.
