Firefly Hills Kentucky is opening Blossom Hall, a new indoor event venue at 2470 Pine Grove Road in Beattyville, and owner Tonja Lesmeister has invited the public to a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, April 10, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Lesmeister announced the grand opening on March 16, with the news appearing in the Booneville Sentinel two days later. "We are incredibly excited to unveil Blossom Hall and welcome our guests and the community to a beautiful space designed for gathering, celebrating, and creating lasting memories," she said.

The April 10 event will give visitors a chance to tour Blossom Hall, enjoy light refreshments provided by local vendors, and explore the broader Firefly Hills property. Attendees can also learn about the campground's short-term lodging options and activities scheduled throughout the year. RSVPs are appreciated but not required; call or text 606-208-0993 to respond or ask questions.

Blossom Hall is designed to serve a wide range of uses, including weddings, community gatherings, educational seminars, corporate meetings or retreats, and rallies. When no event is booked, the space will remain open to overnight guests as an indoor rec room where families can play games, relax, and take cover from bad weather.

Firefly Hills plans to launch weddings at the property beginning in 2026, with couples exchanging vows on the grounds and celebrating in Blossom Hall. The venue's opening is part of a broader expansion at Firefly Hills that includes the recent acquisition of fifty additional acres. That land will support new hiking and mountain biking trails and, for the first time, direct river access where guests can swim or kayak. The property is also adding farm animals for hands-on guest experiences, along with new kid-focused features including a slack line and expanded mud kitchen areas.
