Grande Ronde Hospital Foundation Gala Set for April 25 at EOU

The Grande Ronde Hospital Foundation will hold its annual fundraising gala on Saturday, April 25, at the Gilbert Center on the Eastern Oregon University campus in La Grande, with doors opening at 5 p.m. and US Bank serving as the presenting sponsor.

Foundation Manager Patrick Flynn announced tickets are now on sale at $100 per person through foundation.grh.org/events. This year's event carries a "Black & White" theme, and attendees are encouraged to dress accordingly for an evening that will include dining, live entertainment, and recognition of individuals who have made meaningful contributions to healthcare across Union, Baker and Wallowa counties.

"This year's event, themed 'Black & White,' will celebrate the community's ongoing commitment to accessible, high-quality healthcare in Union, Baker and Wallowa counties," Flynn said.

Proceeds go directly to the Healthier Together Campaign, a multi-year capital initiative at Grande Ronde Hospital and Clinics with concrete targets: increasing clinic capacity, acquiring equipment, and growing the number of providers serving the region. Last year's gala, themed "The Sky is The Limit," highlighted the campaign's early success in expanding surgical services at the hospital.

"Rural hospitals like Grande Ronde depend on community support now more than ever, and every dollar raised goes directly toward keeping essential services close to home," Flynn said.

Residents who cannot attend in person can still participate through raffle ticket purchases. Prizes include a Blackstone propane outdoor pizza oven, pizza dough making kit, steel-frame rocking chair, an ultimate Milwaukee tool kit, and a deluxe mobile detailing package from Tactical Details, among others.
