Gallery 255 Opens Third Month Group Show Featuring Four Artists in March
Gallery 255 at the Public Library for Union County opened "Third Month," a group show spanning four distinct media from oil and ink to turned wood.

Gallery 255 at the Public Library for Union County in Lewisburg opened its March group show, "Third Month," featuring four artists working across a range of materials: oil and ink, pressed flower pictures, metal sculpture, and turned wood.
The exhibition brings together Evelyn Wilhelm, Judy Bouder, Bryan Martz, and Toby Bouder, each contributing work in a separate medium. Wilhelm works in oil and ink, Judy Bouder in pressed flower pictures, Martz in metal sculpture, and Toby Bouder in turned wood. The combination spans fine art painting, botanical craft, three-dimensional metalwork, and lathe-turned wooden objects, giving the show an unusually broad material range for a single gallery space.
Gallery 255 occupies the Public Library for Union County at 255 Reitz Boulevard, Lewisburg, Pa. 17837. The show and an associated public reception were promoted through VisitCentralPA and local outlets during the first week of March. No specific reception date or time was available at press time.

The March show marks the third consecutive month Gallery 255 has mounted a group or solo exhibition this year. In January, the gallery hosted "Flowers, Weeds and a Fungus," a solo exhibition of large-format oil paintings by Anna Maria Leitzel that drew on natural forms and organic color.
The library is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Artists and organizations interested in exhibiting at Gallery 255 can find application information at unioncountylibraries.org/displays.
