Lewisburg Children's Museum Hosts Passport to the World Event March 21

The Lewisburg Children's Museum is turning its Market Street space into a world tour on Saturday, March 21, handing each child a passport to stamp at activity stations representing 12 countries during a two-hour event that runs from 10 a.m. to noon.

Stations will feature crafts, music, games, and language activities led by Bucknell University students and community partners. Executive Director Mary Beth Harris says the event "encourages curiosity and connection through shared traditions." Admission is $7 per family, and the museum has noted that space is limited.

The program is the product of an unusually broad local coalition. The museum's website credits the collaboration to four organizations: the Lewisburg Children's Museum, the Bucknell University Humanities Center, the Merrill W. Linn Land & Waterways Conservancy, and the Union County Historical Society. That combination of a children's museum, a university humanities program, a land conservancy, and a county historical society points to the event's reach beyond a standard crafts morning.
