Keith Edward Kendall, a 67-year-old Lewisburg man who had been working as a law clerk for Union County, faces 13 felony charges after Pennsylvania State Police traced a child sexual abuse tip to a residence on the 100 block of Victoria Lane in East Buffalo Township on March 12.

According to a Pennsylvania State Police press release, Kendall was charged with 10 felony counts of sexual abuse of children, possession, and three felony counts of criminal use of a communication facility. He was arraigned and jailed in Union County Prison on $25,000 bail.

The investigation began when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children flagged activity on an electronic service provider application, reporting that a user was possessing and transmitting child sexual abuse material. That information led investigators to seek a search warrant targeting Kendall's electronic devices at his Victoria Lane residence.

The PSP Bureau of Criminal Investigation's Northeast Computer Crime Task Force led the operation, with additional participation from Bloomsburg police, FBI agents based in Williamsport, and task force agencies from across northeastern and central Pennsylvania. The breadth of the inter-agency collaboration reflects the federally coordinated infrastructure that has driven similar prosecutions across the region.

The Standard-Journal reported that Kendall had been hired in 2025 as a Union County law clerk, and that court administration issued a statement confirming a former court employee had been charged. The precise timing of any separation from that position has not been confirmed in official records.

Kendall's case remains active in Union County court. No defense counsel has been publicly identified in the available filings.
