Raise the Region 30-Hour Online Giving Campaign Returns March 11-12
Raise the Region's 30-hour giving window closes at 11:59 p.m. tonight, with a $175,000 Blaise Alexander stretch fund amplifying every dollar donated at raisetheregion.org.

The clock is running. Raise the Region, the 30-hour online giving campaign organized by the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania, began at 6 p.m. Wednesday and runs through 11:59 p.m. tonight, March 12, giving Union County residents a final window to support local nonprofits before the campaign closes.
Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships is backing the 2026 campaign with a $175,000 stretch fund designed to boost the impact of individual donations. Participating nonprofits are also competing for more than $125,000 in bonus prizes, adding another layer of incentive for organizations to mobilize their supporters before midnight.
The participation count for this year's campaign carries a slight discrepancy between sources: First Community Foundation Partnership reports more than 340 nonprofits are taking part, while the campaign's official site lists over 375 local nonprofit organizations. FCFP has not publicly clarified the difference, and donors looking to support a specific organization can browse the full list at raisetheregion.org.
Participating nonprofits serve seven central Pennsylvania counties: Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, Tioga, and Union. FCFP provides the online giving platform and organizes the event, while sponsors contribute the stretch prizes and incentives intended to multiply each donation's reach.
The campaign has built a substantial track record since its 2013 launch. Over 13 years, Raise the Region has generated more than $21 million for local nonprofits across the region, making it one of the more consequential recurring fundraising events in central Pennsylvania's philanthropic calendar.
Donations can be made online at raisetheregion.org before the 11:59 p.m. deadline tonight.
