13th San Antonio Coffee Festival Feb. 7 Features 30+ Texas Roasters
More than 30 Texas roasters will gather at the 13th San Antonio Coffee Festival Feb. 7 at Hemisfair Civic Park, offering expanded programming, samples, workshops, and live music.

San Antonio’s coffee community will get a major showcase when the 13th annual San Antonio Coffee Festival returns to Hemisfair Civic Park on Feb. 7. More than 30 roasters from San Antonio, the Hill Country, and across Texas will pour single-origin lots, espresso blends, and seasonal roasts for sampling, making the festival a one-stop chance to taste the state’s current crop of microbatches and café staples.
Organizers expanded the festival’s footprint this year with new programming designed to widen the appeal beyond pour-overs and cuppings. A Café Tulum DJ area will add a soundtrack for milling crowds, while a pop-up bookstore in partnership with UNAM San Antonio and Letras en la Frontera will spotlight Latinx voices and coffee culture in print. Interactive coffee workshops will offer hands-on time with brewing techniques and barista basics, and artisan vendors and live music will round out the festival atmosphere.
Ticketing is tiered to match how deeply attendees want to dive into the scene. General admission includes coffee samples and a mini mug, offering an economical way to work through several roaster tables. VIP early access expands sampling windows and includes a full-size commemorative mug, an option for collectors and those who want first dibs on limited roasts. Festival founder Linda Brewster noted the local coffee scene’s growth as a driving reason for the expanded format, framing the event as both a celebration and a networking hub for roasters, café owners, and home brewers.

For practical planning, arrive early to avoid lines at the most popular booths and pace tastings to avoid palate fatigue; bring a bottle of water and plan short breaks between cupping sessions. Workshops will likely fill fast, so consider the VIP option if early entry and extra samples matter to your agenda. The pop-up bookstore and artisan market make the festival a solid outing for gift hunting as well as coffee research.
This year’s festival underscores San Antonio’s role as a regional coffee hub and offers a concentrated way to meet roasters, compare roast profiles, and pick up brewing tips. Whether you’re tracking single-origin trends, hunting a commemorative mug, or just looking for a lively Saturday with music and good coffee, the event delivers practical ways to deepen your cup knowledge and connect with the Texas coffee community.
