Ashley Jewel Moon Arrested for Restraining Order Violation in Baker City
Ashley Jewel Moon, 28, was arrested and jailed after a police safety log listed a "VIOLATION OF RESTRAINING ORDER" at the 1500 block of Indiana Avenue on Feb. 25.

Ashley Jewel Moon, 28, was arrested by the Baker City Police Department at 3:56 p.m. on Feb. 25 and jailed after a public safety log entry listed a violation at the 1500 block of Indiana Avenue. The public safety log entry reads: "VIOLATION OF RESTRAINING ORDER: Ashley Jewel Moon, 28, Baker City, 3:56 p.m. Feb. 25 in the 1500 block of Indiana Avenue; jailed."
Moon is listed with a date of birth of March 19, 1997, which corresponds to age 28 at the time of the arrest. The police department response on Feb. 25 is recorded in the same log that documents several other local arrests that afternoon.
An initial CAD press-log excerpt reviewed alongside the public safety entry used slightly different phrasing, noting the incident as "VIOLATION OF RESTRAINING ORDER" or "Violation of a Stalking Order." The CAD excerpt was truncated at "1500 b" while the public safety log supplies the full location of the 1500 block of Indiana Avenue.
The public safety log places Moon's entry in a compact timeline of arrests on Feb. 25: Shebb Robert Bassman, 38, was logged for HARASSMENT at 3:52 p.m. at Broadway and 13th streets and jailed; Moon's restraining-order entry followed at 3:56 p.m.; and at 4:03 p.m. Justin Patrick Jones, 42, of Boise, was logged for DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED on Chandler Lane and jailed. The log also records a Feb. 24 entry showing Jarod Roland Taylor, 43, Baker City, arrested on an ATTEMPT TO ELUDE charge tied to a Walla Walla County, Washington warrant at 8:26 a.m. while in custody at the Baker County Jail.

The public safety log entry identifies the alleged incident category and Moon's custody status but does not include the identity of any protected person, a court case number, bond amount, or whether formal criminal charges beyond the log wording were filed. The log's language and the truncated CAD excerpt leave unresolved whether the entry reflects a violation of a civil protective order or a stalking-related criminal allegation.
Police incident reports, CAD printouts and Baker County booking records would clarify the exact charges, the narrative of the incident, and Moon's current custody or court status; the public safety log itself records only the time, location, listed incident category and that the subject was jailed.
